Contribution of the institution through various extension activities partnering with NGO’s and GO’s:
Nirmal Gram Scheme :
NSS volunteers actively involved in this scheme. They dug suck pits, constructed W/C in nearest villages where camps were arranged
Save Baby Girl Campaign :
Reduction in strength of girl is a national problem. For gender sensitization college has arranged guest lectures, rallies in Palus and near by villages.
Disaster Management Cell :
Our College has disaster management cell. It is in connection with District disaster management cell. NSS and NCC students have trained under launch driving training program. In 2005 and 2006 there was flood flow in Krishna River. Our Trained NCC and NSS volunteers rescued flood affected people and provided them food and shelter together with Police and army personnel.
